Earlier this week I had the opportunity to hold an open forum for students regarding our college budget. Like every community college in the state, we have begun the process of planning for painful cuts. I will admit that I was a bit nervous before the forum. I did not know what the mood of our students would be. My fears were unfounded. We had a wonderful forum which provided a venue for thoughtful questions, informed dialog, and some great ideas.
